Something funny is going
Tim Allen, Richard Jeni, Drew Carey, Brett Butler, Ray Romano, Emo Phillips,
Judy Tenuta, Lewis Black, Richard Lewis and Rosie O’Donnell have
at least one thing in common. They each have spent time honing their
craft on the stages of Bob Kephart’s “The Comedy Stop.”
With locations in Atlantic City and Las Vegas, Nevada, The
Comedy Stop has been inbusiness since 1983 and continues a 20+ year track record of showcasing the up-and-coming
stars of stand-up.
The Comedy Stop concept has been building a wave of success since the
first location opened in 1983 in Atlantic City. The secret of our success
is really no secret - we are constantly on the prowl, looking for the
very best talent.
You could say we’re
serious about comedy.
And we have a secret weapon: Bob Kephart, our resident master of mirth.
He has a knack for spotting the real breakout artists, the ones with
potential to skyrocket to the top. He’s been doing it for decades
and ... he’s getting really good at it!
No matter what your mood when you come in - you’re likely to leave
with a stitch in your side and a tear in your eye - because the funniest
people in the business continue to hold court here, week after week.
