Glen Jensen
Glen's hilarious mixture of Down Home views, wrapped in a cynical urban coating; keeps the normal folk on the edge of their seats laughing!!! City dwellers, strap in... the bull ride's about to begin! Glen Jensen comes all the way from Oklahoma and has no intention of going back.... Glen grew up in a state where roads run straight and tumbleweeds out-number people. By age seventeen, Glen had learned more than he EVER needed to know about Merle Haggard and pickup trucks, and decided instead, to set out in search of intelligent life! When that road ended, he was hanging his hat in Philadelphia. Unlike his fellow Oklahoman Will Rogers, Glen Jensen has met a lot of men he didn't like. Grover Silcox of "Good Day Philadelphia" calls him "A uniquely funny laid back character. If the world exploded, he would say, 'Now we can stop worrying about parking'." Glen was a semi-finalist at the "Boston Comedy Festival", finalist in the "Philadelphia Comedy Competition" and WINNER of the "Philly's Funniest" Contest. As a regular in Las Vegas and Atlantic City and with a work ethic like no other, Glen Jensen performs over 40 weeks per year. Glen's unique style and perfectly timed material has been impressing audiences across the United States and Canada and have earned him opening spots for Stephen Wright, Al Jarreau and Spyro Gyra. With numerous TV and Radio appearances, Glen has been seen on the "Prism Cable Comedy Special" and on the Canadian Comedy Network, "Comedy at Club 54." |
